    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">DALLAS -- Don't rule out Shawn Kemp just yet.

The Mavericks' interest is such that coach Avery Johnson is personally working out the former All-Star power forward today in Houston. An impressive audition is the first step in Kemp joining the Mavs in time for the playoffs.

With the loss of Keith Van Horn to a broken hand, the Mavs are in the market for a backup to Dirk Nowitzki.

Kemp, 36, has been working out in Houston in an attempt to make a comeback. He retired after the 2002-03 season with Orlando, citing weight issues. He's reportedly lost about 50 pounds from his high of 320 pounds.</div>

Josh Powell had a pretty good game yesterday. If he can give some 8-10 good mins a game without too many turnovers, we should be fine..
