With the Steroid issues plaguing baseball, does Ken Griffey Jr return to the top of the list of the best players in modern day baseball?

    Hello darkness, my old friend
No, Bonds was still better. I don't see the logic of pretending players who used steroids didn't play.

Ken Griffey Jr. may be the best player of his generation among those who are currently not suspected of steroids. Depending on how you define "modern day baseball." If Rickey Henderson counts, he was better. If not, Griffey, Thomas and Pujols are probably the best candidates.
