Los Angeles Angels slugger Kendrys Morales' comeback from a fractured left ankle has entered an indefinite holding pattern. Morales left Arizona Monday to meet with a Los Angeles foot specialist. The Angels had already acknowledged that Morales will begin the season on the 15-day disabled list. Now, it appears he could be out for the first several weeks. The Angels, who begin the season March 31 in Kansas City, are setting no timetable for when Morales will resume his rehabilitation work. He experienced soreness and inflammation in his left big toe and the ball of his foot after attempting to run from home to first base. An MRI revealed no structural damage.
