<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Kenyon Martin was only expected to miss four or five weeks, but when surgery was performed on Wednesday, significant damage was found in the knee, more than a magnetic resonance imaging exam previously had revealed. He will now miss the entire 2006-2007 season.Martin believed he was healthy heading into the season after two season in which he had problems with his left knee. Martin underwent microfracture surgery on that knee in May 2005.</div>Source: Rocky Mountain NewsWow, big blow to the Nuggets... Martin has never been the same since the Nuggets acquired him from the Nets, and it is truly unfortunate for both sides.
Damn, very big blow..Will Najera start, or Joe Smith, or maybe even Reggie Evans..?K-Mart brings easy offense to the Nuggets, and they will miss him a ton in their push to the playoffs.
I feel bad for K-Mart but I am very happy about this, I'm sure we can do without his lazy offensive production. He sits back and shoots jumpshots, I can live without that.Hopefully Karl gives Reggie Evans more minutes now. He is one of the best rebounders in the league off the bench, He plays solid defense, Just an overall hard worker. We play much better when Evans is on the floor. We are playing better basketball without Martin right now.
The Nuggets have to ship him in the offseason. He hasn't done much of anything but get hurt in Denver. They need to ship him to a team that will have a use for him next year. Maybe the Hawks?
Maybe the Nets? :winkglasses: We could sure use him down in the paint again to block all of those shots, plus we dont need to worry about his offensive production, because we already have enough offensive to win a game.

How would the salaries work out? It would be almost impossible for you guys to trade for him.
Wow Bigmo was right when he said Kmart hasen't been the same since he left the nets, I mean most of it's probaly injuries but does anyone think that Jkidd made him the player he was and he should of stayed with the nets.
Big blow my ass. We do better without him, all he does is get us big dunks and some rebounds. We have plenty of forwards that can fill his role and do better. He has a big salary and is injury prone.
I found this record interesting. The Nuggets are 30-13 without him in 2+ years(69.7 win percentage.)I told you guys we play MUCH better without him, Never had the numbers to prove it until now.
