I heard from a friend of mine, that in yesterdays newspaper (i dont know which) there was an article talking about a possible trade for KG, involving Lamar and Devean. Can anyone back me up on this? and what do you all think about it?

Not even Jerry West could pull off a trade like that.

A few things need to take place before Kevin Garnett can even be mentioned in any trade scenario with the Lakers.

1. KG needs to demand a trade.

2. The TWolves need to accept his demand and figure out if they want to reload or rebuild by trading KG.

3. The Lakers need to fend off the rest of the teams in the league who will be on the phone trying to get KG to their city.

4. The Lakers need to outbid and put the best trade package out there to land KG. A package of Odom & George won't even be a top 25 offer for a player like KG.

haha that pretty funny u shud slap ur friend cuz that will never ever happen. One thats probably the last place KG would want to go(besides atlanta) because of number 8 the biggest ball hog in the league. Plus I dont think the wolves are stupid enough

You mean KG wouldn't want to play with one of his closest friends, Kobe Bryant? These two have had a relationship since Kobe entered the league. KG took Kobe under his wing because of the bond they had as high schoolers jumping to the NBA. KG also owns a multi-million dollar home in Malibu. KG's first idol was Magic Johnson, the All-Star point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers. So you are sorely mistaken to make a statement that KG would not want to play with Kobe or for the Lakers.

well put shapecity. i do agree with everybody else that it would be a REALLY UNLIKELY trade. however, i heard that he was demanding a trade. so maybe there is a shred of truth to it.

It will never happen, I wish it would, but won't. Minnesota isn't that stupid.

I think there was an article about this on espn.com too, would be awesome to have KG in L.A., but L.A. doesn't have much to give to the T-Wolves.

I may be stupid but im not that stupid to give KG for Lamar and Devean.
Come on ... No disrespect but KG is probably top 5 overall in the NBA....He may want to leave Min or he may not that's his choice but i don't think Wolves would take Lamar and Devean for sending KG. BUT IF they land KG there...need I say how how far they'll go with Kobe and KG?

I agree, it will be Kobe and Shaq all over again, because Kobe and KG will have the Lakers back to winning NBA titles.

If Dallas doesn't make it at least to the wcf they will offer Minny a much better package that the Lakers can for KG... but that's, like shape said, IF KG himself demands a trade. If he doesn't he's still untouchable.

The only thing I could emagine is Kobe for Garnett. But then Minnesota would have 2 good SGs...

Stranger things have happened... like Dale Davis, Speedy Claxton for Baron Davis (no draft picks).

We've had some of the most crazy rumors this season. Boozer, Lebron, and now Garnett. COME ON! LETS GET SOMEONE that can play instead of just talking about it!
