Kevin Love was spotted at the Tubby Tip Off last night and then later made his way out to the U of M and partied it up at a local frat with a few of my friends who got a few very nice pictures with him. Unfortunately I missed him as I was in the building next door but I would have loved to have talked to him about the upcoming season! From what I've heard Love is great guy and a real fun guy to be around. Looks like he is having a good time here in Minnesota!
It's nice to hear we got a great "people person". Although I'm still a little on the fence about losing Mayo...at least with Love I get the feeling he could stick with our Wolves for awhile instead of possibly bolting to a big market/media team after his rookie contract plays out.
Exactly....when Minnesota drafted Mayo, I felt that he wouldn't like it much there and that we would leave first chance he got. At least with K-Love, you have a little sense of security.
