    <div><font size="4">Kevin Love is a 6-9, 260 lb PF who is currently a freshman @ UCLA. Regarded by some as the #1 recruit in the country, Love is Oregon's all time leading High School scorer. Averaged 33.9 ppg, 17 rpg, 4 apg, and 4.2 bpg, as a HS Senior. Love should make an immediate impact at UCLA as a freshman. His basketball IQ is off the charts, and he uses his strength and size extremely effectively. Great outlet passer, often finding his guards with full court on the money passes. Excellent offensive post moves and an above average rebounder. Lacks great speed in the open court, and could improve his foot work, as he is somewhat plodding. Draft projection: Late lottery to mid first round. </font></div>

    I think he's great, he has a chance to be one of the great in UCLA basketball, but I don't see him as a great pro, he should be a 3-4 year college player like Tyler Handborough. He has no NBA posistion to undersize for C, not athletic enough to be a PF or SF, Josh Smith would destroy this guy. He's a great passer, and has great post move, but his weakness will overcome his strenghts in the NBA. He'll probably be a role player, so if i was him I'd build my legacy in college, and go into the NBA as a ready to play solid pro.

    comparison= Brian Cardnal???

    Brian Cardianl???? Hes a 3 pt shooter who doesn't have nearly the post moves or IQ that Love has. However, i think your right about him not really having a position. Maybe he can develop a face up game and a nice jump shot, and play some pf. I really don't know...hes basically a very skilled center, who's not that athletic and is undersized. I think he probably should be a late first rounder.

    IDK Brian Cardnal has a really high B-Ball IQ and they are about the same size, that's why I made the comparison.

    He will be great with a fast break team with his outlet passes.

    I love his passing abilities, the half court pass yesterday was amazing.

    Mid-late first round sounds about right. I like his ability, but he needs to develop a better face-up game.

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>On the defensive end, Love plays a very smart game and is always hustling, showing his most prowess as a man-to-man defender in the post. Here, he holds excellent position and does a very good job of always keeping his hands up, getting a good deal of blocked shots when opposing players try to shoot over him. Most of his blocks come in this vein, as he doesn’t really have the athleticism to be much of a force as a help defender, even though he almost always makes the right rotations. While Love usually does well defending the post, he really only excels with players that try to go over or through him, showing problems against players with quick feet who will try to out-finesse him, which is concerning for those who project him as a power forward at the next level. For those who project him as a center, he may have problems defensively there as well, as many centers in the NBA will be able to shoot over him.

    On the perimeter, Love hustles hard and shows a good stance on defense, but he often has to give up too much space to stay in front of his man, and this is definitely a concern at the next level, especially if he projects as a power forward. Love has problems with the pick-and-roll as well, not showing the quickness to consistently hedge and recover, despite his smart play.

    ...

    but what position he will defend and whether he’ll be able to score inside with near the same efficiency as he did in college is in question, especially considering he’ll be even more prone to having his shot blocked as a pro.

    ...

    he’s definitely not at his athletic peak, as he probably could stand to lose another 20-25 pounds still. The fact that he hasn’t done so already, though, is a little bit baffling.</div>
