We need some bulk next to Aldridge, and he certainly provides it. He's been developing a decent little mid-range shot and hits the boards hard. Additionally, the wizards did just trade for Nene and they both don't work very well together. Does anyone think that trading for him might be a good use of our#5/6/7 pick or the #11? What do you guys think his value is?

    Hickson/Freeland/Thomas
    Aldridge/Seraphin

Would a rotation like this work out alright?

I think our more pressing needs at at PG and C. I like Seraphin, but I think Hickson fills that spot nicely already. Hopefully we can sign Hickson to long term deal - I like his nastiness - something our team has lacked for years.

Trading a lottery pick for Seraphin is way overpaying for him. He showed some promise this year but no way i'd give up a lottery pick for him. Would much rather bring over Freeland and keep Hickson then have to trade a decent pick for Seraphin.

I disagree. Seraphin would be a lotto pick this year IMO. He's shown flashes of being a player who can be a threat from the post and a capable defender at center.
