    How far was the cop from the garage? I don't think I ever missed a target inside of 200 yards with and M16 during weapons qualification the entire seven years I was on active duty, or the four years I was in the National Guard.

    EDIT: Although, I am fairly certain that a vast majority of those targets were unarmed at the time...
