Well, anybody watching NBATV Fantasy Hoops last night may of heard them talking about this.

The rumor has it that the 76ers were trying to piece a deal which would send Dalembert, Korver, and a 1st round pick to Minnesota for KG.

My co-worker did the math on Hoopshype as well and stated that the money matched up to league requirments.

    This would be huge.

Wow, if Philly can pull this off then hat's off to them. I just don't see how Minny can give up KG without getting an All-Star in return. Replace Korver with Iggy and I think the deal becomes more reasonable for Minnesota. Korver is basically the same player Wally is, so I don't see Minny wanting anything to do with him. Plus Minny has Skeeta on the bench and their perimeter shooting is solid enough.

This would be amazing for Billy King to pull a trade off for KG without trading Iverson or Iguodala. I hate to say it but if we have to give up Iguodala I would say we have to pull the trigger. With KG we have a legit chance to win the title now and Iverson and Webber won't be around to see Iguodala's prime. Minny would definitely make life tough for BK if they said we have to have Iggy.

Wow, the Wolves would have to be stupid to take this deal. The only reason the deal matches up is because Sammy D's gigantic (Why?!) contract.

Great deal for the Sixers, that would easily make them a title contender, but the Wolves would basically be telling their fans not to come.

Nice. I'm not much of a Philly fan, but I would like to see KG get a chance to win a title. I cannot stand the way Minny has handled him and wasted his career. He took a paycut in order for the team to build a title contender around him, they haven't held up their end of the deal.

I'm guessing they'd put KG at the C position. This hurts the bench though, if it does go through as stated above, because then we'd have John Salmons in the starting line-up and the only perimeter player off the bench would be Kevin Ollie.

I doubt this goes through at all, unless the Sixers get Wally or somebody else in return as well, and Minnesota would have to be stupid to not ask for Iguodala.

Are you kidding, giving truckloads of money to Wally's World isn't a great idea...lol

yeah I know what you're talking about, but if you look at a lot of the problems the Wolves have had they haven't been organization as much as selfish players. Marbury/Garnett were looking like the 1-2 combo of a lifetime until Marbury got jealous and ran off. Now the Cassell/Spree wasn't organizationals fault as much as players not shuting their mouths...

but the Wolves did nothing this offseason to increase chances.

Agreed, I think Minny can get a better deal somewhere else and if not i would keep KG instead of trading him to Philly.

Trust me, the Sixers and Wolves havn't even talked about any trade involving KG. Whoever said this trade could happen or was talked about are dreaming.

The only trade that has been talked about is the Wolves have alot of interest in John Salmons. However Philly aren't willing to give him up for what the Wolves are willing to offer. Philly do seem quite high on Salmons as they should be. He's played well this year.

Dude, you have no clue what kinda talks go on behind the scenes. Neither do I, but Rick Kamla has alot more insight and connections than a couple of board posters. And note, this is know disrespect towards you or any of your ball knowledge.

I think not extending Cassell led to him mouthing off, and what made it worse was paying Jaric the money Sammy was asking for. KG loved playing with Cassell, because Sammy is all about winning and has that warrior mentality when steps on the court. I don't see how the TWolves can take that type of bond away from their franchise player and then downgrade to an uproven player who has zero post season experience.

As for Sprewell, I don't think there was any love loss there, but the TWolves didn't exactly replace what he brought to the team either.

The proposed deal would be completely lopsided for the TWolves, and if Minny puts KG on the block, they are going to field offers from all 29 teams. Out of those 29 teams, there's got to be a better package than what Philly has initially offered.

An ECF with 76ers v. Pistons would be a great series.

    AI v. Rip
KG & CWebb v. the Wallaces
    Iggy v. Prince

76ers v. Spurs in the Finals

    KG v. Duncan
    AI v. Parker
    Iggy v. Manu

I'd be glued to the TV.

Actually I do, my source has alot more credabilty than anything that comes out of Rick Kamla's mouth. My source who will remain nameless has been right about at least 5 trade and 3 player signings weeks before they happened. But hey feel free to get your hopes up with some random trade rumour.
