KG Tosses Ball In Stands, Hits Fan

You need to see the replay, the fan was totally milking it and is just looking for some money. Garnett didn't even toss the ball into the stands, it was more of a "flick". Garnett said he didn't mean to hit anyone he just wanted to get a delay of game. The fan got hit in the face by a ball that was traveling at the speed of a sloth. Once Garnett found out he hit someone he looked worried and before he got ejected he asked the ref if he could go over and check on the man. When Garnett went over there the fan just glared at him and wouldn't shake his hand or answer him.Apparently, before Garnett left he went and apolgized again to the man and his family. The guy had to be taken off in a stretcher, which is totally insane. The man barely got hit with the ball, talk about the ultimate <Censored>. The crowd really let the man have it when he was taken off in a stretcher.

 

OMG, the media should be on this in no time.... 'KG frustrated, throws ball into stands' 'KG throws ball into stands, hits fan...' 'KG, throwing ball a sign?'....

Yeah you bet the media is going to magnify this a ton. I have got hit in the face with a ball tons of times. I wasnt looking and someone bullet passed it right to my face. It hurt and I could hardly move my face but I walked it off and it was fine. I can't believe when KG just tossed it that the fan had to be taken off in a stretcher. He probably wants to get some money off of this. KG did the right thing and a suspension should not be neccisary. Maybe a small fine.

 

Best quote is the "I didn't mean to hit anyone." What did you expect when throwing the ball into the stands?On the guy, I didn't see the incident, but I'll take your word for it, and he flopped better then Ric Flair.I don't know if the guy can get much for probably no injuries.

 

Well, Garnett didn't mean to hit anyone. He just wanted to throw the ball away so it would be a delay of game. Garnett didn't look where he threw the ball.

I think the fan wanted KG out of the game. He was really over reacting. Every fan who gets in crap with NBA players are over weight, I love America

The guy looked like he wanted more than just medical attention... he definitely looked fine.

 

Garnett ended up getting fined $5,000, but there was no suspension.

 

Unless the guy didn't see KG Throw the ball his way (Which is kinda odd) I believe the guy should of just cought it and threw it back in unless he just wanted KG to look worst then he already did for throwing it in the first place.

 

Wow this guy is a big time jerk. Garnett actually showed that he was sorry for what he did and the guy flopped.

Well u know some people are going to do anything they can to get a quick thousand something dollars in there pocket which is why the guy acted the way he did. IMO The EMT's should of just let the guy look stupid because there is no way getting hit in the head from a basketball is going to need that kind of attention.
