    I've heard Niemi is even played better than Huet. Wonder how that will turn out...

    Huet will be their top keeper when the season starts. As for NK, it is about time they let him go.

    It was inevitable. The NHL's decision to enforce all salary bonuses immediately has totally f'd with Chicago's salary situation. They went from one of the most financially flexible teams in the league to being on the verge of the cap, because they had so many incentive-laden rookie deals. Khabibulin was overpaid since he arrived in Chicago but this is the first time that actually presented a problem for them.
