Amir Khan (25-1, 17 KO’s) who faces Zab Judah (41-6-0-2NC, 28 KO’s) on Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, has struck back at the allegations made by Roger Mayweather that he is using steroids. Roger Mayweather is the uncle of Floyd Mayweather Jr., who is facing a defamation lawsuit by Khan stable mate Manny Pacquiao for making the same charges against him.

It was reported in the UK Daily Mail that Amir Khan angrily denied the allegations by Roger Mayweather that he got where he is by using illegal drugs. Khan stated “I’ve consistently proved that I am a clean fighter. This is nonsense. I’ve been tested repeatedly in my career, before and after fights at home and my base in Los Angeles.”

“Don’t forget I came through the Olympics (in 2004) where testing is very thorough. I’ve never refused the test, even though I could have done so when I received an unannounced knock on the door a month after my last fight with Paul McCloskey.”
