WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan (23-1, 17 KO’s) wants to get a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his promoter Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy Promotions wants to see Khan face Mayweather as well. In an article at the Times, Khan says “I would love to fight Mayweather and I believe I can end his unbeaten record.” I wonder what gave Khan the impression that he has the ability to beat Mayweather

Did beating Paulie Malignaggi, Dmitri Salita, an old Marco Antonio Barrera, Andriy Kotelnik and Osin ***an give Khan that belief? How about his 1st round knockout loss to Breidis Prescott? I think Khan has about as much chance of beating Mayweather as he does Wladimir Klitschko.
