1st PICK:TORONTO RAPTORS SELECT...Andrea BargnaniReason: Colangelo can't pass up on a kid with Dirk like potential. This makes Villinueva tradeable, and preferably he can go for a point guard cuz Calderon certainly won't cut it.2nd option: LaMarcus Aldrige2nd PICK:CHICAGO BULLS SELECT...LaMarcus AldrigeReason: There's no one else they need. The Bulls are deep and young at every position except center. Chandler is better at power forward, and this gives 'em a banger in the middle.2nd option: Tyrus Thomas3rd PICK:CHARLOTTE BOBCATS SELECT...Brandon RoyReason: The Bobcats are into drafting guys with alot of college experience. They don't draft Gay or Morrison since they're commited to Gerald Wallace, and they certainly don't need a big man. Roy can do it all and has a great basketball mind, exactly what Charlotte needs.2nd option: Rudy Gay4th PICK:PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS SELECT...Tyrus ThomasReason: The Blazers intend on unloading Miles and Randolph, and Thomas is the perfect guy to come in and replace Zach. Thomases defensive ability and work ethic is something Portland hasen't seen in a long time. 2nd option: Adam Morrison5th PICK:ATLANTA HAWKS SELECT...Marcus WilliamsReason: Hawks will be drafting for need this year, and they are in desperate need of a point guard. We won't know if Marvin was a better pick then Chris Paul for a while (although the answer is NO WAY as of right now), but they need to draft the best PG they can, and thats Marcus, a guy who can lead a very young squad, and Salim can play both backup pg and sg.2nd option: Rajon Rondo6th PICK:MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES SELECT...Rudy GayReason: The T-Wolves need to get back on track, and take the guy with the most potential in Gay. Now Garnett has someone extra to pass too. The problem with Rudy is that he'd be an ideal Scottie Pippen to someone elses Michael Jordan (Wade, Bron, even Gerald Green). Rudy will probably end up being an exteremely good second option, problem is that might not happen till KG is old.2nd option: Adam Morrison7th PICK:BOSTON CELTICS SELECT...Adam MorrisonReason: He's not exactly Larry Bird, but he's the closest thing we've ever seen. Ainge won't be able to pass up on this kid. Morrison's been seen wearing Red Sox hats in several different locations. The ticket sales he would bring in next year would be tremendous although his playing time may very well be limited behind Pierce, Wally, Gerald, and Allen. If Morrison learns to play D at all he could turn up great for Boston, who needs an heir to Pierce.2nd option: Rajon Rondo8th PICK:HOUSTON ROCKETS SELECT...Randy FoyeReason: Rondo or Foye? Rockets take Foye who has more experience and just has more potential (NBAdraft.net compares him to Chauncey Billups.) Foye could go to Atlanta, but since the Marcus Williams hype has gone up Houston will be pleased to snag him this late.2nd option: Rajon Rondo9th PICK: GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS SELECT...Rodney CarneyReason: Has Richard Jefferson-like potential. Davis-Richardson-Carney would be a ridiculously athletic back court. The experience and athleticism make Rodney an easy top ten pick. Two highlight reels waiting to happen on one team? Watch out.2nd option: Patrick O'Bryant10th PICK:SEATTLE SONICS SELECT...Patrick O'BryantReason: Seven footer with upside? Team with no center? Perfect match. Yes...I know...they have Petro, and Moore, and Swift. Well one of these four is BOUND to turn up good right? RIGHT????2nd option: Shelden Williams 11th PICK:ORLANDO MAGIC SELECT...Shelden WilliamsReason: Can you believe Orlando wanted to trade up to 7th or 8th to get either Shelden or Gay? I don't understand the logic to that. Gay is doubtful to be available at 7th or 8th, and Shelden can't go higher then tenth. The Magic get exactly who they want right here, although Williams will never be more then a backup to Howard.2nd option: JJ Redick12th PICK:NEW ORLEANS HORNETS SELECT...JJ RedickReason: Funny how NO gets the top college player in football AND basketball. There are JR Smith rumors floating around, and when you have a guy like Chris Paul running around distributing as well as he does, finding Redick open won't be hard. That's all JJ really needs to do anyway...be open.2nd option: Maurice Ager13th PICK:PHILADELPHIA 76ers SELECT...Ronnie BrewerReason: It's good to have a kid who can play alot of positions. SG, SF, and even PG if he has to. He's not an amazing shooter, but Philly has plenty of those, and look where that's gotten them.2nd option: Quincy Douby14th PICK:UTAH JAZZ SELECT...Shawne WilliamsReason: Aww...JJ isn't there. Utah wanted him so bad! Well, they take the next best thing. Very young gun who can play SG and SF. He just needs to work on his defensive intensity and conditioning like most players this young.2nd option: Hilton ArmstrongTHERES MY LOTTO DRAFT!!! Please go ahead and critique.

Why would we draft Bargnani and so we could replace a very key part of our future in Villanueva. And if you didn't notice Bargs plays the same position as Chris Bosh. Should we go trade Bosh as well. We need to draft Aldridge. He can run along with us at Center and finish off a frontcourt that will be spectacular to us for the future. One more thing. Ronnie Brewer wont slip to the 13th spot. And if he even slipped to the 8th spot, the Rockets would certainly jump on him.Other then that, it's pretty damn good.

Only problem I see with it is Ronnie Brewer. I dont see him being a lotto pick as of right now. Hes a below average shooter for guard, especially a lotto pick guard.

  4. Re: KhAoS MOCK!!!

lol, funny that you guys disagree on ronnie brewer. i think people think very differently of him. oh and if u know prosportsdaily.com where they round up all the rumors from different news papers i remember reading that colangelo loves bargani and that that would place villi on the trade block. im pretty sure bargnani can play the 3 spot too. im glad u like it otherwise tho

    Re: KhAoS MOCK!!!

-Toronto won't pick Bargnani. There is simply better options on the board. It's between Aldridge and Gay for them.-Boston won't pick Morrison. They already have Pierce, Green, possibly Gomes and Wally that can play SF, and they don't need more scorers, especially scorers that can't play D. It's either Marcus Williams or Foye for us, i guarantee it.-Golden State won't pick another wing player. They already have Jason Richardson, Mike Dunleavy, Jr. and Mickael Pietrus. They need a Center. They'll probably take O'Bryant.-I can't see Shawne Williams going lottery. Yes, he has some talent, but he's still raw, and there are better options on the board.-I don't necessarily disagree with your Seattle pick, but Seattle has some Centers. Chris Wilcox, and Robert Swift, a guy they're high on.

    Re: KhAoS MOCK!!!

Overall a pretty good mock but I disagree w/ a few things.- The Raptors aren't taking Bargani. They are fine at the pf position and are either taking Rudy Gay or Lamarcus Aldridge.- Boston has no need for Morrison if he is still left. Like Dogman said they already have a lot of players that can play there. Theyll probably take Foye w/ the 7th pick.- Golden State has no need for another wing player. They mainly need a C to backup Adonle Foyle and eventually take over his starting spot. the'll probably go w/ Patrick O'Bryant.- Seattle does not need another C!!! I have said this som many times along with a few other people. They are better off drafting Carney to bring more depth to the wing positions. Keep in mind Ray Allen is getting older. Plus they have like 4 centers any way.- Why do you have Sheldan Williams going to Orlando. He's going to play PF in the NBA which also gets played by Dwight Howard. They are just fine there. They're better off going with a shooting guard liek JJ or Ronnie Brewer. JJ could be a great pick. When teams try and double team howard just dish it out to JJ for the open look.- Why are the Sixers taking Ronnie Brewer. We have no need for another shooting guard. We need to get a big man or bring more depth to the point guard spot.

i guess you guys must dislike alot of mockdrafts then lol, ill try to rebuttle with a simple answersome teams draft for need, and some sly gm's like colangelo and ainge will draft for the best available :shifty2: like i said, colangelo is high on bargnaninow...for something i can debate much better:gomes is not an sfwally is not part of the futuregreen can play sf sure, but wouldnt you rather see him at sg if he ever ends up starting?and morrison would not be expected to play next year anyway, he'd learn under wally and paul.when you have a youth movement, and you have some decent guys on the board and a potential star, you take the star, no matter the position. im tired of this we need a PG sh*t, there are FA pg's and Delonte and Dickau will be solid.as to my later picks, it's harder to make them since i don't know those players as well as i do the top 8 or so, i understand that its kind of murky but so are most mocks towards the end

    Re: KhAoS MOCK!!!

I'd honestly rather have Tony Allen than Morrison. This team has plenty of scorers, we need to fill the other roles, like defenders or playmakers. Morrison is simply a bad fit.EDIT: Just read the rest of your post, and i strongly disagree. Morrison would be expected to contribute right away, wherever he goes. He won't improve much, his game is already almost fully developed. He has the skillset already, and you can't teach quickness.Okay, there are FA pg's, but how many of them actually want to play for Boston?? maybe one, MAYBE. We don't have alot of money to offer, and it's not like we're contenders right now. We need to take a point guard in the draft. Williams of Foye, without question.

Just to add, khaos a lot of those talks about teams being high on certain players are most of time smokescreens. You can't put a lot of what a gm says during the draft, especially through the media. They ain't giving away who their picking.

You mention with the first pick that picking Bargnani makes Villanueva tradeable, there is no way they pick Villanueva 7th and then trade him because they pick Bargnani who at this point is a unknown. The Raptors aren't at a luxery to trade young talent away to draft new talent there at the same position, they can't afford it.
