    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">7) Jason Kidd – New Jersey Nets

Who would have ever thought that they would see Jason Kidd as number seven on a list of the league’s top point guards? But let’s face the facts, Kidd has slowed down at age 33. But even with his slowing down, Kidd is still a dynamic player who hooks his players up whenever he has the opportunity and is a true leader on the floor.

The next two years will define how Kidd is remembered, as he has a stellar supporting cast consisting of Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson in the league’s most superstar-laden backcourt.

With nine triple doubles this past season, Kidd remains the same threat that he always has. But after missing his first all-star game in a long while, Kidd’s career is showing signs of definite wear and tear. </div>

That's just disgusting. As for the All-Star game, more than often players that don't deserve to be the game get chosen, over players that should be in the game.

Yeah, I always rate JKidd up there in the best PGs, it does seem like a bit of a joke...

That disgusts me. But history has proven Kidd should be top 3 right now.

Now let's have a list of <u>pure</u> point guards in the league. I'm sure J-Kidd wouldn't even be on that list.

Because he wasn't in the All-Star game?

The idea is not that Kidd is showing wear and tear because of not making the All-Star game. What he's saying is that when Kidd was in his prime, even the idea of him missing the All-Star game was not feasible, so you can see that his production is not as it was when even in the eyes of the coaches Kidd is not as good as he once was. Remember the coaches are the ones voting for the bench, and Kidd did not make it there either.

The way he had wrote it, does make it sound like Kidd is showing wear and tear because he missed the game.

Real GM has always been trashed. Kidd is no lower than 3. That 15 game win streak proved it. He held Steve Nash scoreless and the night before that he locked down Chauncey Billups.

Why should a RealGM article even be worth posting?

Talk about a crap article. No way is there 6 point guards in the league better than Jason Kidd. Arenas isn't even close to him, Paul is still miles behind, etc., etc.

Where was that in the 2nd round, when they needed it the most? I can't believe how much of a joke this article is.

Gilbert Arenas just has the ball at point because no one else on his team is worthy to run the offense. Jkidd is definatelytop 5 or even top 3 on that list.

1-7 are all amazing NBA PGs. Not all are true PGs. Namely Iverson and Arenas who need the ball in their hands and need to score. Kidd is a one of a kind shorter Magic who can't shoot quite as well. But he's a winner and competes.
Parker can still lapse, fail to bring the goods, and is better distributing the ball than shooting IMO, but has earned a top 7 ranking because he wears Rings.
(And he started). Paul and Felton are the future PGs in this League. Paul
right now is close to as good as it gets dismantling a zone defense and laying a perfect pass cooly but with a feisty warrior mentality. Felton has always been quick, but his mind was a step behind in college and now the two seem to be more in sync. Hinrich is just a very good baller who knows his team and gets the ball to the hot hand. One more comment that applies to Kidd, Paul and Hinrich (and others) they all can make a group of medium talents competitive, and particularly with Kidd and Paul, they get to the rebounds and loose balls and can be counted on to steal twice a game.
