"RJ's out there," one GM insists. "He's been out there for a while." "They're quietly shopping him," a second GM said. "I've been hearing that he and Jason aren't getting on too well," another said.</div>I guess he will be the piece used to get their big man.

I dont see them dealing Jefferson. Hes young kid entering his prime who just had a solid season. Hes one of the top wing players in the league. Even though there is a surplus of solid wing players in the NBA, this kid is a game changer. I think this kids a keeper.

I wouldn't be suprised if they traded him for Kmart. I'm expecting something more along the lines of Charlie V.Someone big and muscley who can pound the ball inside and just be an overall team enforcer.

Please...nobodys trading a legit bigman for a SF.

Well Kenyon is on the block because of knee problems and a big contract and troubles with the coach, he's a very attainable peace in the leauge right now.

If this is indeed true, then the rumors of shipping out him, a bench player, and a 1st round pick for KG may actually have a base afterall. But, from what I have heard from him in interviews and such, I believe the rumor he doesn't get along with Kidd is completely false.

Richard Jefferson and a 20 something first round pick for Kevin Garnett, makes about as much sense as me wiping my ass with my hand when I have toilet paper.

I dont know about this. I mean RealGm isnt always the most reliable source lol. I wolud like to see f RJ really does get traded somewhere. I like the trade idea you have Nitro but I dont know if the T-Wolves would bite since they don't have any great benh player and since they dont have any real high picks.

T-Wolves are going nowhere with KG and need an overhaul, and Nets are going nowhere with no low post prescence and 3 premier guards/SF.

They would go nowhere with Richard Jefferson not to mention Minnesota would be losing the only thing it's ever had in a Wolves uniform, everyone treats this like it's no big deal but Kevin Garnett is the only thing that team has ever had in terms of an amazing player, I met him 4 years ago and saw him signing autographs with all those kids...I just think a lot of posters are trivializing his trade. Trading Garnett does NOTHING in helping that team....It would be a lottery team in the dumps and nobody would pay to see the Wolves play.

Well, you have possibly the best F/C out there, why would you want to trade him and get half of the value? What Minnesota SHOULD do is build around him. I can see why KG wants out, if they don't give him anything to work off course your going to get mad.

No, trading him makes no sense and doesn't help anything.

The team needs a new direction, as KG just can't carry a team to greatness. RJ is 25 year sold and heading into 6th season. When Jkidd was out of lineup last year before VC came, RJ was averaging around 23PPG, grabbing 7RPG, and many of his numbers were up. If he went to T-Wolves, they wouldn't improve talent wise, but would give the franchise a chance to go in a new, younger direction. They can't build the team around a 30 year old, especially since the team liekly won't come together for another few years. By then, that superstar will be declining and need other great players to pick up slack, as you can see with Miami this year.If they traded for RJ, got a few good picks next few years, and used what else they got in the KG trade for good use, they could be in a few years what the Clippers were this year.

So what your saying pretty much is...start all over and rebuild with a SF and turn into a worse version of the Denver Nuggets and hope your draft picks work out with one of the worst GM's in all of basketball in McHale. I'm not saying thats bad....but...you know.

I say start the process now, make some trades each offseason, bring some veterans in, and make RJ the centerpiece. Once again, like Clippers past 2 seasons or so. This year they brought in Sam Cassel and Cuttino Mobley, cheap veteran pickups, had a decent base, and made Brand centerpiece. I feel T-Wolves can be similar within next 3 or so years. KG is gonna get them nowhere.
