Kidd's knees might heal really slow, and his contract is huge, but still it would be a crazy trade if the Nets only get Shareef in exchange for Kidd. You just don't give your allstar guard for a guy who started just 3 of his 32 games with the Blazers last year. If they add Telfair it becomes a little more interesting, but he's still unproven, and it's a big gamble. The Nets are rebuilding, and he could be a good fit once they move the team to Brooklyn.
