A trade that will bring KIDD to LA witouth givin up Farmar and Odom.We just send Kwame expiring contract, Javaris Crittenton and Radman plus a first round pick.
Nice read

I think a trade is very near.

sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story

We'd be stupid to give up Javaris. The kid is going to be a beast in the league. I don't think Jackson would give his consent in a deal involving him. I'd much rather trade Farmar, Kwame, and Odom honestly.
If it is possible to get Kidd, which I don't think it is, I'd like to hold on to Radmanovic. Can you imagine the open looks that he'll get with Kobe AND Kidd?

That's funny. We loose a starter and pick up what, injuries and a rookie who hasn't shown much.
The reason why Kidd isn't on the Lakers roster is because of being cheap. You either risk it or you don't. Just like from our side as well.

Kidd for Odom, Radman, Sasha and Fisher.

lol (i know fisher wouldn't be traded because of the whole deal with his daughter)

So, we lose $600,000, a first round pick, Farmar, Kwame Brown, and Radman for Kidd, Augustine (from Magic), and Madsen (from Minny)? I'm kind of mixed on this trade because I would much rather get rid of Odom than Radman. If we want Kidd, we HAVE to lose Farmar/Crittenton, so that's out of the question. If we could keep the pick and NOT receive Madsen, I'd much rather prefer that.

If we could get Jason Kidd with that trade, I'd piss my pants. We're not going to get Jason Kidd for a bunch of crap, you've got to give talent to receive. I'd do this deal in a heartbeat, but unfortunately I don't see it happening

pg: Kidd
sg: Bryant
sf: walton
pf: Odom
c: Bynum
^ Are you kidding me?

If we could somehow get Kidd without giving up Bynum...we had better do it. There is a limit though. I mean I wouldn't give up BOTH Farmar and Crittenton..it's one or the other. I'm willing to let Lamar go, but idealy keep him. No problem sending Vlad Rad or Kwame. Likely it won't happen...but I won't ever lose hope. haha

Bynum has opened my eyes this season. He's really doing what he said he was going to do. Averaging a Double Double, Playing D, everything. We keep Bynum.
Kidd for Odom/Kwame or forget the deal. Kidd has maybe two or three seasons left. Bynum is proving to me that he is just getting started. Another BOSH????

Seriously... Kidd for Kwame, Java and filler not named kobe, fish, farmar, bynum, odom, walton is a steal...
i too feel that a trade is looming around the corner
Nets get 8 M in cap space in kwame's expiring contract and a young stud in java

True, the Nets do get Java in this trade, but don't they have their stud in Marcus Williams? Also, if we trade Odom AND Brown, we need to throw in a guard in there because we NEED another big. All we would have left is Mihm and Bynum. I say trade Crittenton as well and see if we can get Josh Boone from NJ. PG Jason Kidd SG Kobe Bryant SF Luke Walton PF Vlad Rad C Andrew Bynum
A SOLID team on both sides of the court. We do lose SOME post defense w/ the loss of Brown, but Boone makes up for some of that. Also, we upgrade our triple double threat from Odom to Kidd. I don't see why NJ would say no to this trade. They get a future PG, an upgrade at PF, AND a post defensive player which they are lacking, AND they can clear up cap space in the summer. C'mon Kupchak, call up Thorn TODAY!
The only things we have to worry about: Kidd becoming the next Lakers version of GP. Trading away 50% of our future. Also, is Kidd REALLY a second option on offense? He should open up the floor though for other players to score. Maybe throw in ANOTHER player (Sasha?) so we can get Marcus Williams as well?

QUOTE (mynetsforlife)

Throw in this year's first, and 2010's first rounder.

Okay, but only if you throw in a few more years of life in his 34-year-old legs.
Thanks in advance.
