http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...ons/blog/071206
"Here's the final four-team trade: Los Angeles gets Kidd, Augustine and Madsen; Orlando gets Radmanovic; New Jersey gets Kwame, Telfair, Crittendon and a lottery-protected No. 1 from the Lakers in 2008; Minnesota gets Garrity, Vujacic and $600,000 from the Lakers."
What do you guys think?

Lottery protected? Hell no. We are getting two busts, a guy glued to the LA pine and a lottery protected pick? Jeez even McHale would laugh his ass off, safe in the knowledge he got more for KG...

Over / Under how many times I'll use this phrase while responding to Kidd trade ideas?
"Hold on while I grab my ankles"

Hold your ankles now buddy... hahaha
How about a 3 way with Philly and the Lakers;
We trade Kidd and Collins, Philly trades Miller and Evans, LA trades Farmar, Kwame and Odom.
We recieve Odom and Miller, Philly gets Farmar, Collins and Kwame and LA gets Kidd and Evans.... Seems pretty fair with a few draft picks changing hands...
With a Miller/Carter/Jefferson/Odom/(insert stiff here) starting 5 we would have a pretty solid lineup that has good passing and rebounding skills...

I don't understand why people want Odom back in a trade. It doesn't make any sense.
As far as winning now goes, Kidd is one of the 15 best players in the league. If we're trading him, we're resigning ourselves to rebuilding. That means we want young players with promise, draft picks and cap space.
Besides, if LA trades for Kidd, they're interested in winning now, and Kidd is just the type of player who could finally get Odom and Kobe on the same page.
If we trade Kidd, I want Bynum or some collection of Atlanta's talent. Haven't heard any other names that actually make sense yet.
