before 03-04 season, the nuggets were no where near playoffs, and then kiki drafted the right player, and in the middle of the last season hired the right coach, this season the nuggets are like what? 3rd or 4th in the west? they are doing well, if kiki ever resign for some reason, he can manage the knicks

    he drafted the right player?

His choices were Carmelo Wade and Bosh, he really could do no wrong!

But in my personal opinion i think Wade/Bosh would of been a better pick but you really cant complain about Anthony's season. Providing he can continue this play theres no reason why he the arguement cant be made between him wade and bosh.
But Kiki really couldnt do any wrong in that draft.

Colengalo is the GM of the year in my mind. he got 3 atlanta picks and Boris Diaw(<-awesome) for the low low price of NOT having to pay Joe Johnson a maximum salary [IMG]

Drafting Carmelo Anthony was a no-brainer at the time, and you ca neven argue that it wasn't the best move, what with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh both enjoying arguably more success than Anthony. Nene has been a solid player, but he isn't what he was expected to be as a seventh pick, and Nikoloz Tskitishvili has been a major bust. Not to mention Vandeweghe overpaid Kenyon Martin and Andre Miller, maybe Marcus Camby even. What he has done isn't the work of a worst GM, but it's hardly top 10.

Bosh more success than Anthony? Yeah right. Carmelo is the one leading this team to playoffs every year he has been in the league. Im not quite sure that Bosh would be leading them to playoffs if he was here instead. So I would hardly say he has enjoyed more success.
