Vandeweghe said interim head coach Michael Cooper is still in the mix for the job, as well as three other candidates whose names he would not disclose, but he would like to make a decision soon.</div>

Good find shape, Denver may be one of his dream teams, but I'm not sure if he's the players' dream coach. I honestly dislike the way he communicates with his players, it's like it's all business, shut up and just play. That's not going to earn players' respect no matter how good his Xs and Os are. I'm just hoping the Nuggets stick to coach Cooper.

i really dont see much of a difference between what Jeff did and what coop is doing. i think that they're defense is improving but its not like cooper will be out of the organization, he'll still be an assistant. Also, Karl is a master of quick turnarounds so im all for it, because I want the Nuggets in the playoffs.

I'd better see a slow but long-run turnaround than the opposite. This is the same coach that Tim Thomas thought the reason why he took less money to play for when both were in Milwaukee. The very next season, Thomas didn't even want to hear Karl's name mentioned.

How about bringing back Dan Issel? He coached the Nuggets to a first ever 8th seed victory over a number one seed in the playoffs. I think the Nuggets have type of players he enjoys coaching, and he would make sure everyone put defense first.

George Karl could turn out to be a nightmare for this team. He doesn't communicate well with his players and he's had a history of having friction with his star players. He had feuds with both Payton and Ray Allen, I can see definitely see him getting into it with Carmelo and/or K-Mart.

No chance... the last time he was our coach, he was forced to resign by our own Kiki after he yelled a racial obscenity at a heckler. Besides, our team already has a short list of candidates: assistant coach Del Harris of Dallas, Utah's ac Phil Johnson, SAS's ac PJ Carlesimo and George Karl. All declined except Karl, so basically the candidates are now Karl and Cooper only.

I agree with your point that Karl could have feuds with Melo and K-Mart. Unless Kiki adds another candidate who doesn't mind taking over a championship-caliber team aka Phil Jackson, the Nuggets imo should stick to Cooper for now.
