King has said on a couple occassions that AI will stay put, and O'Brien has made it clear he looks forward to coaching AI. Please, enough of the AI trade talk, he'll be in Philly for years to come;)

no offense taken. I keep seeing talk about AI getting traded and such, this thread was in response to that.

You guys are welcome to make the statement that you believe that he's not going anywhere, but you aren't helping traffic on the site or this forum by indicating to others that they shouldn't talk about something.

Let's be realists for a second:

There's pretty good reason to believe that he won't be traded. However, there are no absolutes, when it comes to NBA general managers.

Danny Ainge has said from the beginning that no one is untradeable. Does that mean we think that he's going to trade Paul Pierce? Personally, I think there's about a snowballs chance in hell of it happening, but I'm not going to tell others they can't talk about or exchange scenarios about it.

I simply choose to ignore/not respond to most of those threads.

I understand there's a fair amount of frustration involved with hearing stuff you don't agree with over and over. However, If you want to make it better, your best course of action is to help direct other posters(in a nice way, BTW) to keep those type of topics all in the same thread(s).

That will serve 3 purposes:
1. Keeps the forum cleaner
2. Doesn't stiffle conversation, particularly from those who are new.
3. It's easier to know which threads to avoid, assuming you've had your fill of convo on the topic.

There's my free 2 cents. [IMG]

I have mixed emotions about this trade I want him to go but I think Philly needs him to as a leader in case of a Playoff trip next year. Sure they have won some Regular season games withouth him but you need some type of leadership in the playoff race. Thus stating Philly needs Iverson.

Good thing he aint leaving. Who will the Sixers get if he would of been gone?
I dont think the Sixers would be anything without Allen Iverson...
