    Grammy winner R&B singer Roberta Flack, known for her hit song killing me softly passed away this morning from complications to ALS, surrounded by her family. She was 88.

    May her beautiful soul rest in peace.

    My wife does a killer version of this song. Her favorite singer. I think she was the first Sade type artist in pop music. RIP

    Mid-1970s, I was at some sort of "anyone can get on stage and perform" event, and a frat-boy type got up and did an truly wretched version of Killing Me Softly.

    It remains to this day the single worst performance I've ever seen of any type.
