Love the Splitter pick, but I don't think that the Kings take Noah if Hawes is onboard.

Why would the Bulls pick a SF?

NEW MOCK http://proxy.espn.go.com/nba/draft2007/fea...961~18917~18856Made some interesting picks here, switched up a ton of things.. I made every pick for a reason, and I went to every team site to see how they felt about certain players - so please comment!! I won the contest last year, so watch out... :dribble: * I had alot of trouble with the Bobcats picks - they seem very interested in Brewer and hes the best player available at 8. The big men left in the early 20's aren't worthy of a pick that high, so I'm thinking they'll trade down if it really plays out like that.

If you went to Wolves sites, you'd find that 8/10 fans don't want Hawes at 7. In fact, a lot of them were pretty furious when they heard that McHale could have possibly given him a verbal promise.

It looks pretty good, although Al Thornton is a big time steal down at 19. I don't know if I see him slipping that far. Also, I don't know if Almond makes much sense at 21, considering that already have Iggy/Carney/Korver/Green (and not to mention you have them taking Julian Wright, a combo forward, at 12). I don't know if McRoberts is a great fit for Miami either, they could probably use a guard.

The draft is unpredictable though, so it looks pretty good.

I think Jeff Green is the best pick right here, but every source possible is saying that they are set on Hawes. So I just went with that.Al Thornton was a pain in the ass.. I think Philly would be a decent fit for him, but I have Wright going there - and I like that pick. I haven't heard many teams that are in love with him yet, he hasn't had any GREAT workouts from what I've read either. There's going to be a guy or two that really slips, and I guess he's my guy.I think the Sixers should either trade up for Jason Smith or trade down for Aaron Gray or Sean Williams.. I believe they actually will trade that pick because your right, Almond doesn't fit in Philly. The Heat need a big man, and a guard - if Jason Smith dropped, I think he'd be a good pick, and I just thought about Marcus Williams. He'd provide alot of versatility, he can play any of the 3 wing positions..NEW MOCKhttp://proxy.espn.go.com/nba/draft2007/fea...961~18917~18856

Yeah this draft is so tough, starting at 3. It's unpredictable, but it sure as hell is fun to talk about. I also agree that 1-2 projected lottery picks will likely slip. The Clippers and Hawks could very well end up with Law/Crittenton, which would push at least 1 guy out. We'll see, I just can't wait until these 8 days are over.

I've been hearing talk about Crittenton all day in Atlanta today.. He had a awesome workout, and I just have a feeling he's our man at 11. There's just so many different possibilities, but I love this time of year though.. Whoever wins this mock draft contest deserves it!..http://proxy.espn.go.com/nba/draft2007/fea...961~18917~18856

I like your mock draft but I think Wright will go to the Timberwolves and Hawes will get drafted by the 76'ers. I also don't think that the Grizzlies will draft Conley when they have a similar point guard in Lowry coming off an injury and that pick is too valuable to pick a point guard when they have Lowry developing and still being considered as a big time prospect. Other than that, your mock draft is pretty well done. Thanks for putting Crittenton at 11 to the Hawks because there's no way they need another scoring guard in Law. Crittenton is the better fit and with his body, he'll help out the point guard situation in Atlanta in a hurry.

Ive heard so many rumors living in Atlanta and all, and I think everyone in the Hawks organization is in love with Crittenton - I also think he'll turn out to be the better PG. Thanks for the comment!

We have heard almost nothing in the media about what player is hot on this teams list, who's ahead of who, etc....I know most of the players in this draft like the back of my hand, but some of you act like you have insider knowledge.

Some of you guys take the popular draft websites (the big 2) too literally.

I hear some of you go, 'theres no way this team picks nick young over thaddeus young', it's like, how the hell do you know?</div>

Come on CB32, we all know about Hawes going to the Timberwolves, not to mention Wright had a great workout in Milwaukee a few days ago where our management said Wright would, 'not get past us'. I made that post 10 days ago when absolutely nothing was clear. Now things have fallen into place, we know what players teams are targeting because of the workouts, the cancelling of workout's, GM's making statements, statements from team scouts hitting draft websites. 10 days ago things were completely different.

There is still alot of things that are unclear but those two things are both definite. (Wright going in Top 6, and Hawes going in Top 11 for sure.)

I just felt like throwing that back at you because I have noticed a couple ***hole posts from you lately (one example: in the Celtics section when you made a smart ass comment about a poster posing prospects' schools).
