The Hornet's finally won after losing 10 in a row, they were able to beat the Kings in overtime riding on an amazing performance by Baron Davis, and a nice offensive outburst by JR Smith.

Baron Davis recorded a triple double with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 17 assists, both matching his career high, and JR Smith had 23 points shooting 9-18, and 4-6 from behind the arc.

Baron Davis Postgame Interview: "I don't know where I"m going, but this guy (pointing to JR) right here, he is the future."

JR Smith is the future of this team...they should ship out Baron right now, I believe they can get some nice pieces to start building around JR.

What a game by Baron though, 17 assists...I would love the Lakers to make a run for him...

I don't think it is wise for any team to start building around any high schooler not named Lebron in their rookie seasons. Although Smith had a great game last night, he is shooting 33.8% from the field and 26.9% from three point range. He also lacks the consistency to be a guy you can count on every night, at least at this point in his career. Smith could be a future star though, it looks as if he has all the tools.

I think that they shouldnt be so trigger happy at giving away Baron. He is doing awesome considering that he got 17 assits with the Hornets. Also, dont build a franchise around JR till you actually find out that he can come every night and put up those kind of numbers. Why dont they get rid of Magloire or Mashburn?

It was a great victory for the Hornets saturday,as they beat one of the better NBA teams. My Kings played decently to the end.New Orleans played with a tremendous amount of heart, and that's why the Hornets got the win.the bottom line is the Kings lost and the Hornets won,and congraduations go out to New Orleans.
