J.R. Bremer also got lost that after scoring 20 points in that contest and how not been found. Keys To The Game <u>Cavaliers</u> I can't stress getting back in defense enough Pound Miller and Divac inside to try and draw fouls Must defend the perimeter and keep hands up Attack the basket, make freethrows, don't turn the ball over <u>Kings</u> Run, run run, and run the floor Spread the floor when in the half court set, play Kings basketball Keep a body on Carlos Boozer, keep him off the glass Zone it up, make the Cavaliers shoot from outside Don'y overlook this team The King's Take Though the Kings let the Blazers, the worst road team in the NBA beat them at Arco last night, I don't see the Kings playing like that again for a long time. Kings will be hungry and look to take advantage of this young Cavalier team. LeBron James has already stated that he will try and play in this game, but he sure won't have the last call on that decision. James loves playing against teams like the Kings because there are a lot of transition opportunities for him. Does Boozer keep up this mind boggling play play? Has he reached a new playing level in his career? We will see. I'll play it safe and call the Kings by 10 <font size="1">Please visit NBA.com</font>
Play it safe? Better tack on 10 more points. Kings by 20 because of the offensive firepower this team has. Bibby at the point, new acquisition Brad Miller, Peja the MVP candidate. I'm no Kings fan, but they are the best team in the regular season. I don't care if you're playing at Cleveland. <strike>This is a garbage team anyway.</strike> <font color="Red">If you expect to post in this forum, I suggest you post with more respect and intelligence, like actually spelling players names right. - KJ</font>
Whoa 20 points!!!!!!!! after this last game I think this Cavs team as a whole should not be looked at as an easy win for anyone
This game could be ugly if Lebron doesn't play. If Lebron does play, this is the most important game of the season in my opinion. A home game against the best team in the NBA (its debatable, but at this point the Kings are #1 in my opinion), coming off of 3 wins in the last 4 is huge. If the Cavs can win this, it could really spring board us into a 4 or 5 game win streak and put us right back in the hunt for the 8th spot. The Kings precision cutting and outside fire power will be nearly impossible for the Cavs to overcome though. Teams seem to shoot the lights out from 3 point range against us, mostly because they are always wide open, which mean Peja could drop 40 easy. I'll hold my predicition until closer to game time when we find out whether LBJ will play or not.
Especially with the way Boozer has been playing as of late. Good to have Big Zee back on the court. I don't think they'll win but as always, the Cavaliers will put up a fight. Kings by 7 in a close one.
The Cavs dont always need LeBron to win. Because there roster is so deep they could still beat the Kings but it would be difficult. As for the comment about making the playoffs, I think you should be realistic. Even if they made the playoffs how would they get out of the first rounnd?
I am actually glad that Bron missed a game, these other guys were aggressive finally. Blessing in disguise if you ask me.
"As for the comment about making the playoffs, I think you should be realistic. Even if they made the playoffs how would they get out of the first rounnd?" I think this is one of the stupid baksetball lines that pisses me off more than any other. Have you checked the Eastern Conference lately? Aside from the Pacers and Pistons, every other squad is extremely average. The Nuggets and Magic have proven in recent history that bottom seeds can beat top seeds. Maybe I'm crazy, but I'd prefer getting put out in the first round over not making the playoffs at all. Also, I'm curious to hear about this "deep roster" the Cavs have.
I think the Cavs can keep this close til the 4th, after that tehy will play sloppy ball and turn it over a lot, Kings by 10+
Cavs get handled by the Kings in this one. Kings have way too much firepower and are playing at an extremely high level, even if Lebron were to play they would still lose but not by the same margin Kings by 12(thats being generous the way the kings are playing)
Im going to say the Kings by 6. keep in mind i called the 5 point win by the cavs last night and Boozers 20 rebounds
The Kings will win this game, but they have allowed teams back in games all season long. I predict the Kings to win by 13.
LeBron Update <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> LeBron James participated in a shootaround Wednesday on his sprained right ankle, but coach Paul Silas said the Cavaliers' rookie isn't ready to play. "Chances are slim," Silas said when asked if he expects James to be available for Cleveland's game against Sacramento on Thursday. "But I wouldn't put it past him." James, who sat out Tuesday's win over Seattle, was favoring his right ankle Wednesday. Cleveland's leading scorer has not run on the ankle since injuring it in a game at Utah on Saturday.</div> Full Story
i think he should rest until he is 100% because if he plays hurt it would suck if he reinjured his ankle and would be out even longer
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting shapecity:</div><div class="quote_post">The Kings will win this game, but they have allowed teams back in games all season long. I predict the Kings to win by 13.</div> Not the Clippers the other day, lol. I'll take the Kings by 18, even after their loss to a lowly Portland team at home.
I'll say that the Kings will win this one, by 12 mainly because of bobby jackson and Peja. This year Bobby Jackson=6th man of the year and Peja Stajokovic(spelling)= MVP or MVP runner up. Boozer deserves to be in the allstar game this year but he probably wont be.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Blinger0723:</div><div class="quote_post">Jeff Mcinnis will start now at pg tomorow? it can happen i guess.</div> Naw he won't be starting tomorrow. He still has to take his physical. He will most likely play Saturday against the 76ers. Back on topic. Well If Boozer stays hot this will be an exciting one to watch. I love watching role players step it up against high ranking teams. Reminds me of 94 when Terrell and Tyrone gets the push with an injured Price, and Hot Rod. Peja can't take Booz inside. That will have to be our game. Perimiter defense is the key.
