well... after a less than spectacular start, the kings have now rolled off five wins in a row and things are starting to look like they are coming together.

one thing that they have been able to do which is not something that has been typical in seasons past is coming from behind to pull out a win.

while the bucks game was ugly, they came from 7 down to take the game which means they are finding a way to get back into games when they are down late in the game. this is one of the key elements that have been missing from years past.

I will now publicly state that Webber has been playing far better than I expected he would (I was pretty doubtfull that he would come back after the knee surgury). While his virtical movement isnt especially great, his lateral movement has gotten better since the pre-season and he has made some adjustments to his inside game in order to compensate for the areas he is lacking in.

another thing I am impressed with is the way he is handling himself in the media.

I was one of the reasons ? we were all one of the reasons. We had one of those nights but that?s what good teams do. I?m not really worried about it. I hate these types of games but the key is trying to get the win. If you play a great game and shoot 90%, it?s not going to happen the next game. We look at it like we played ugly, but we could?ve given up ? but we stuck in there.?

?You just have to keep playing your game ? that?s all you have to do. There was an MVP a couple of years ago that shot 33%, so you?ve got to play your game. So when you start listening to all the other people, you start messing up your flow. If Peja misses 8 in a row and he stops taking the open shot, it?s going to mess up our flow.? </a></div>

    Right On!

I Will say that I Never lost faith in the Kings when we were 0-3 in the beginning.some fans were panicking, but alas this was the beginning of the season and it really wasn't a big deal.so it's good to be in 2nd for the Pacfic conf.

Chris Webber has impressed me in the way he has been playing and the way he has handled himself in the media like Haber has said in the above post.I Hope this is a sign of Webbers maturity as a Vet.

So i just wanted to say that the Kings are back in action, and look good...except for the lack of defense, but that's the same ol,same ol as usual..anyways i like what i see so far with the Kings!

    GO KINGS!! [IMG]

This is no surprise. The Kings are still a great team with or without Divac because some people thing his absence is what triggered the bad start. Also, quite frankly I still think there a championship caliber team. But as far as the season goes, what ever they do will never impress me.

The Kings are a great and with that said they are going to win 55+ games this season like they've done in the past few years. But when it comes to the Playoff's there record doesn?t mean anything but home court advantage. So basically what I'm saying is that the Kings season is in a way pointless and what goes down in the Playoff is what matters. Year by year judging on what they?ve done in the season, you can easily say that they will get the championship this year? however ever year they still have yet to even make the Finals.

Personally, I?m a Kings fan and I root for them every year, but I?m getting a little tired of seeing them do so good and fall in the Playoff?s. While they may have some excuses during those Playoff runs, such as injuries and such there is always something holding them back. And no matter how good they do this season when the Playoff?s come around, something is going to come up.

Well said Avery. My thoughts exactly.

They are still a major power in the west, and if they can make it through the playoffs without something bad happening they have as good a chance as anybody at winning it all.

I am still of the opinion that defense is the key to them getting to the finals. If they can figure that out this season, they stand a very good chance. without it, they stand no chance.

This is the problem here...Lack of Defense [IMG]

The Kings have to get their Defense going and soon.sure were a playoff calibur team and all,but w/o Defense, were just another good team. This is why we haven't gone into the finals at all.

Maybe this is the year...Maybe not,but so far I Like what the Kings have been doing.

Let's see if the Kings can do bigger and better things
