The Sacramento Kings(48-30) come into tonights game at the Staples Center looking for the season sweep of the series with the Los Angeles Lakers(33-44). The Kings have won three in a row. Also, they beat the Lakers 124-105 Sunday at Arco. The Kings are averaging 121.7 points during their three game winning streak. Currently they are seeded fifth place in the Western Conference. They are only one half game ahead of the Houston Rockets, who have a 48-31 record. The Lakers have lost seven of eight after losing 108-97 vs. Phoenix Suns on Monday. Kobe Bryant scored 20 points and added 10 assists. Los Angeles was outscored 56-43 in the second half. The Kings have won two of the first three meetings and can clinch just their fourth season series win over the Lakers since moving to Sacramento before the 1985-86 season. The Kings Should come out with the win, sweeping the season series. My prediction is 112-103

Great.Peja kills it in the 1st quarter and then leaves the game with an injured groin, thats perfect.Pretty typical...

Horray!!! Peja has been shut down for the rest of the season. This is horrible news for the Kings. Now we could slip as far down as 7!!! Terrible...

RealDeal was right earlier in the year when he said the Kings would suffer injuries and it would hold them back...But he was wrong when he said the Lakers would finish ahead of SAC because the lakers absolutely sniff butt.

^ What I meant by that is that its typical that the Kings have to suffer ANOTHER key injury.

    not too worried,
I think the kings will take the game in Utah & split with the Suns.
if they slip any in the playoffs, I think it will only be one position.

Beating pheonix 1 out of 2 games is a tall order considering how many players the Kings are missing.
