    Wow,
I was worried about artest saying he was going to shut Bryant down, but he came about as close to shutting him down as you can. Bryant had a horrible shooting night (well... horrible for Bryant that is) and was forced into putting up a lot of bad shots.

Offensively the Kings were clickin on 7 of 8 cylinders. (The one that kept mis-fireing was unforced turnovers).
If the Kings had not turned the ball over as much as they had, this game would have been a complete slaughter.

    some highlights for you:
    FG%
    Kings 54%
    Lakers 46%

Artest lead the kings with 28 pts
    Miller had 4 blocks.

I heard the Lakers stuggled because they miss Mihm's presence. I guess they'll have to live with it the rest of the year, hope they can't so Utah can slip in. I also looked at the boxscore, only 7 Kings played today, I can't believe this because if they keep doing this they'll end up running out of gas round come playoffs.

^ Yes, the Lakers lost to the Kings because they didnt have Chris Mihm....[IMG] . Kobe had a bad game (for kobe) and Odom went off, yet the Kings won by 16. Id say thats a pretty thorough and legitimate beating. 13 straight home wins and 5 straight wins!!! SAC also put the lakers behind them in the playoff seedings, WHERE THEY BELONG [IMG] [IMG]

    uhhh.. yeah...
    I gotta say...

Mihm being in there may not have exactly helped their cause, but Bryant being forced into bad shot after bad shot had more to do with it than Mihm's absence.

I have always said that Bryant has a lot of talent... and I am neither a Bryant nor a lakers fan... why exactly is it that when he does have a bad game, there are few who will come out and say it... Lakers win... it was Bryant that won it for them.... Lakers loose... someone lost it for them, someone was out of the line up... anything but Bryant just didnt play well. The guy is good... but come on...

and yes, only 7 players were in the game for the Kings. Garcia is still out with an ankle injury. when he gets back the rotation will be up to 8 again. Adelman has always gone with a lean rotation once it gets late in the season... its nothing new and the conditioning is not as big of an issue as you might think it is.
