<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Sampson, a 6-11, 235-pound forward-center, appeared in 23 games last season for the Charlotte Bobcats, averaging 3.4 ppg (.452 FGs), 5.3 rpg and 14.2 mpg. His signing with the Kings marks his fourth NBA team in as many seasons.</div> I know nothing about this guy. However,I do notice that averaging 5 boards per 14 minutes is a whole lot of rebounds in not a whole lot of minutes.

He is a good rebounder, and can hold his own in the post. His offense isn't that good though, he has limited offensive moves. Think a very poor mans Ben Wallace.

To be fair, I dont know why they are signing players from the Bobcats, it is easier for us to look at a player from there team and there stats will be better than they actually are. Could be good though.

Don't be surprised if he doesn't make it past the pre-season games. Jamaal Sampson has all the ability and size to be a great NBA player, but his work ethic is non-existant.
