Update: Coach Tom Thibodeau is contemplating lineup changes following the Bulls' third straight loss Tuesday, one of which could be moving Hinrich out of the starting lineup for Nate Robinson, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Recommendation: Hinrich has struggled this season while Robinson has proved to be a scoring machine off the bench. In addition, Hinrich is usually known for his defense, but he has also struggled there as well, which could lead to his move to the bench.

We'll see if this would happen. Perhaps this injuries bother Kirk more then we know.

I think I'd rather see us play Keith Bogans than Kirk.

I was not a Bogans fan at all, but he did make an occasional 3pt shot. I think Kirk hasn't made one since Nov. 8.

That's right. But isn't this a really negative view? I don't see Bogans playing a better role for the Bulls than Hinrich.

If Hinrich actually played to his $4M contract, I think you'd be right. Kirk's role is to suck at PG while the Bulls have an awful season this year waiting for Rose to come back. And then to slide over to SG and exactly fill Bogans' role. IMO.

FWIW, Mayo scored 27 points on Wednesday to help Dallas defeat the 8-1 Knicks. Knicks. Remember when they were the laughing stock of the league with Isaiah as GM?

At least for now a lineup change is off the table.

Mayo is playing way better then Hinrich. But is it Bulls failure that Mayo playing in Dallas or did Mayo just only choose Dallas over Chicago? I don't know...

Mike McGraw wrote about Mayo and the Bulls in August, just after they signed Hinrich.

If they were smart about it, they'd have gone after Mayo right away and not signed Hinrich at all, or until after Mayo was a done deal.

    The moves I'd have made?

Resign CJ. Keep Asik. Sign Mayo. Keep Korver for another year. Wait for Rose to come back. Let Rip walk (his contract would be up after this season). Amnesty Boozer.

    This season we'd have had:
    CJ, Mayo, Rip, Mike James
    Deng, Boozer, Taj, Butler, Korver
    Noah, Asik

    Next Season:
    Rose, Mayo, CJ
    Deng, Taj, Mirotic, Butler
    Noah, Asik
