Knoxville native Chris Kirk matched the course record Saturday and moved into sole possession of the lead after 54 holes of the Knoxville News Sentinel Open. Kirk posted a 9-under 63 and stands at 15-under 201 following three rounds at the Fox Den Country Club. He leads by one shot over 48-year-old Kirk Triplett (67) and by two over Australian Gavin Coles (64) and California rookie Travis Bertoni (65).
