First year Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury, hired in December, finalized and signed his contract Monday.

It is a five-year deal worth $10.5 million that could be worth up to $13.5 million depending on bonuses, according to a source.

Originally, the school had said Kingsbury would sign a four-year deal that averaged $2 million a year.
