Players To Watch
[IMG][IMG]
LeBron James/Keith Van Horn

James: 20.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 1.52 steals
Van Horn: 16.7 points, 7.2 rebounds

Fast Fact
LeBron James and Paul Pierce are the only players in the NBA to put up at least 20, 6, and 6.

Keys To The Game
Cavaliers
Keep a body on Van Horn at all times
Go to Big Z on Mutombo early
Keep Marbury out of the lane
Attack the basket

Knicks
Get the ball out of LeBron's hands early
Double Ilgauskas on the blocks
Keep a body on Carlos Boozer
Slow the game down

The King's Take
The Cavs can get a huge, and I mean huge lift in this game with the probable returns of Dajuan Wagner and DeSagana Diop (who had 4 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal, and 2 blocks again the Knicks last time he faced them) All eyes will be on these 2 to see how many minutes they play and how effective they will play. The Cavaliers had 2 rough games againt the Pacers and Nets, I feel they will be ready to destroy this beaten up Knick team that really does not play defense very well. Look for James to have a huge game as he did not shoot very well last time out against the Nets.

Edit: Well, now after this deal, I expect a much closer game  . Both of these teams will have new players and players coming back from injury. Can only guess reallw hich team will have better communication. What a special game this is going to be indeed.

Tossup

Great preview. Nicely laid out.

Ive only seen the Cavs play twice at home this season, against Memphis and Boston, (two great games) and on both occasions they have only just come up short. I expect another close game, but I'd like to see them come away with it. LeBron will be hovering around the 30 point mark.

Cavs by no more than 8.

I am going to pick an upset Knick win in this one. Haven't been a bad team of late, Van Horn is really starting to find his NY feet and I feel they can come away with this one.

New York by 7.

A nice preview as always, King James!
This will be a Cavaliers win, damn sure about it, because Allan Houston is injured [I think] and he don't going to play, and if he are going to play, he gona play bad! [Because of his injuries]. And Keith Van Horn got some small injuries so he is going to rest quite much this game to!
So I'd say Cavs by 10:)

BTW: Put in another SG in the starting lineup for the Knicks than Houston![IMG]

He's still probable, so if he plays he will start.

I left Houston as the starter because he did not play last game because of only a sore knee. We will see how much he plays tonight, but if he does not he will have plenty of rest before the Cavs game on Tuesday.

Nice preview KJ. If the Cavs can contain Van Horn and Marbury of from making big plays we should be alright. I think they can do it so I say Cavs by 2.

Houston is playing tonight against the nets and did start. He is however 1-7 from the field for 2 points with 4:42 left in the 2nd (Knicks up 28/26)

Looks like such a fun game to watch, hope for your health that no one is watching it.

You guys are seriously underrating the Knicks...An upset would be a Cavs win not a loss.

Keith Van Horn believe it or not has been playing like an all-star..becoming the player he was hyped to be.

Wow!

This game can be amazing now after the Suns/Knicks deal. We have the probable returns of Dajuan Wagner and DeSagana Diop and the possible debut of Stephon Marbury in a Knicks uniform.

The trade still requires NBA approval, so I will wait till it is 100% official before I make any lineup changes.

If you already posted in this thread you can edit your post and make any changes you want. If anyone lese has any opinions on this game, please post!

Finally!
Cavs have activated Dajuan Wagner and Desagana Diop, so put D-Was in the starting line up instead of Kedrick Brown![IMG]

Slow down, Wagner won't start for a while chief. We must bring him along slowly.

*Edit*

Marbury did not take place in the Knicks morning shoot around, but says he hopes to play. I'll keep on this and see if I can find anything out before gametime.

I'm joking, yeah, I agree with you, got to take it easy in the beginning, but I really look forward to the day he's back 100% again! Then he'll rule the NBA harder then noone ever done before!
Trust me, HE WILL!

Whoa Marbury sucked tonight. Looks like he didn't bring his A game. Good game by the Cavs. It's good to see LeBron playing well as always and almost breaking his records. it was also nice to see Diop with good minutes and good play. Good game again Cavs.
