The Knicks and Bucks had serious discussions about a trade on Thursday.

Zach Randolph and guard Fred Jones would have gone to Milwaukee in exchange for guard Charlie Bell, forward Bobby Simmons and center Dan Gadzuric, according to a league source.</div>

That would have been a terrible trade...we would have brought in 3 guys who have terrible contracts left. Oh wait, thats what Isiah likes to do, no wonder it almost happened. I understand Zach's contract is bad, but I'd rather have him on the team and keep Fred Jones' expiring contract than get these 3 overpaid bums:

Bobby Simmons (after 07-08) 2 years, $20.48 mil left
Charlie Bell (after 07-08) 4 years, about $14.8 mil left
Dan Gadzuric (after 07-08) 3 years, about $20.25 mil left
