http://www.nba.com/games/20051114/NYKUTA/boxscore.html Knicks pull out a low scoring affair game in which they held the Jazz to 62 points, a franchise record since the shot clock era. I think it was a very well played game by the knicks. They didnt score alot but theyre defense limited the Jazz to a 29% fg percentage. Of course they didnt have AK, but they still pull out a big win on the road. 2 game winning streak so far, struggling lakers next.
Well here's what I liked about the game. Steph made zero turnovers... looked totally in control and when he was on the court made the team flow much better. He just needs to hit those free throws and know when to take over the game. He's still adjusting to Brown but I like what I see so far... minus the FT%. JC has shot 4 straight games at around 50%. He looks in more control now and you hardly ever see him jack up bad shots, although they still do happen from time to time. What I like about last night was he spotted up rather than taking off balanced shots. Q looks like he's getting his stroke back... and with him hitting his shots this is a totally different team. It opens the floor up for both JC and Steph. I like Curry's play.. especially those 5 blocks... the last 4 games he's averaged over 9 rebounds a game. He's still getting into shape but I like how he's playing so far. I kinda questioned Brown's substitutions but now I see he's trying to wear the other teams out with the depth. When (not if) the turn down the turnovers.. we'll really see what this team can do.
