Re: Knicks Bench>Knicks Starters <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>NBA.com Recap: NEW YORK (Ticker) -- New York Knicks coach Larry Brown made a statement, and his bench heard the message loud and clear. Jamal Crawford scored 21 points and fellow reserves Qyntel Woods and rookie Nate Robinson added 18 apiece as the Knicks rallied for a wild 121-117 double-overtime triumph over the Atlanta Hawks. The matchup of two of the NBA's worst teams turned into one of the best games of the season against a backdrop of controversy surrounding Brown and his ongoing feud with point guard Stephon Marbury, who questioned the Hall of Fame coach's style and his own role on the team. New York trailed by as many as nine points in the fourth quarter when Brown pulled Marbury and the rest of the starters in favor of Crawford, Woods, Robinson, Jackie Butler and rookie David Lee. The reserves responded by energizing a dormant Madison Square Garden crowd and lifting the Knicks to their seventh victory this season when trailing by 10 points or more. </div>BoxscoreWhat a suprise huh?
Re: Knicks Bench>Knicks Starters I can't believe they made that run. Nate was dominating. How many freaking dunks did the Knicks have in those OTs? wow. This just proves how poor of a leader Stephon is.
Re: Knicks Bench>Knicks Starters the young guys really came together last night. that's actually something to look forward to. i like marbury but he should've been on the bench after dissing larry brown and larry's statement was pretty clear. hopefully it's not just a one game thing.
