<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">GREENBURGH, N.Y. (AP) -- The New York Knicks are unable to beat the New Jersey Nets on the court -- or off it. NBA commissioner David Stern denied a protest Friday filed by the Knicks, who claimed the clock stopped twice in the final 1:50 of their Game 3 loss on Thursday night. The league acknowledged the two stoppages occurred but determined neither was detrimental to New York, spokesman Brian McIntyre said. Before the NBA's announcement, Knicks president Isiah Thomas said he would live with whatever the league decided. ``I am still fighting for our season, and the competitor in me will do everything in the rules to make sure we will stay alive,'' Thomas said. </div> Full Story ======== http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap;_ylc=X3o...4042218&prov=ap
dang that sucks for them I had them as my upset pick but after falling down 3-0 I dont see them coming backthe nets just always seem to be gettin off the a quick start against the knicks and leaving the knicks battling to get back in the entire game. And as soon as they make a push the nets push right back knocking them down even farther. Isiah did a good job his first season with the knicks givin them a star player in starbury but the van horn deal was one to many he should have quit while he was ahead now with houston out for the series they really miss van horns out side shooting and thomas is a streaky player that cant put up consistant numbers on offense in that deal the knicks dont only lost offense but defense as well because as bad as van horn was there thomas is worse. I see isiah pulling a off-season trade with the pistons to get wallace shipping tim thomas or mutombo or someone mabye not for wallace and mabye not with detroit but it will be a blockbuster offseason for the knicks no matter if the come back and win the series which is unlikely or get swept.
im really suprised the knicks filed a complaint for this game. the nets went TEN MINUTES without scoring. c'mon, how much more time you want? they had plenty of time to take the lead or tie, but couldnt make the big shot or get the bounce their way. what if they league agreed with the complaint? what would they do? do they take the win away and make the nets/knicks replay game3? or do they just appologize to the knicks? has that ever happened anyway b/c it just seems there would be nothing the league could do once the game is over btw. marbury was passing, but missed the shot anyway

Penny got strip by k-mart on one play, Steph took a horrible three point shot. And on the last play Steph bricked the 1st free throw which basically ended the game. New York just cant live with the fact that they cant beat the Nets. Iam ready to get this series over with already the knicks are to much.
