http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=knic...ov=st&type=lgns NEW YORK (Ticker) - Backup point guard Jamison Brewer is back with the New York Knicks.
The Knicks on Friday signed Brewer, whom they traded to the San Antonio Spurs in February. Brewer, 24, played in 18 games off the bench with New York last season, averaging 1.7 points and 1.2 rebounds. He did not appear in a game with the Spurs, who also acquired center Nazr Mohammed in the deal for forward Malik Rose and 2005 and 2006 first-round picks.
The 6-4 Brewer, who was drafted 41st overall in 2001 by Indiana following his sophomore season at Auburn, played his first three seasons with the Pacers and has averaged 1.6 points in 54 games.
Pretty good pickup. I like Brewer since he played good defense and can score the ball. He also adds to the pg position which we need help in. Brewer is an LB type player.
I think Brewer will be the 3rd or 4th string PG with Crawford possibly running point and Nate and Stephon already there. Brewer is alright, but I cant see him doing too much for the Knicks with the roster the Knicks already have.
