Late in the season, members of the Knicks' organization discussed the possibility of using their cap space to acquire players via trade this summer. The Knicks will have at least $18 million in space in the offseason, so absorbing a contract won't be difficult. One name to keep in mind is Jeff Teague. The Knicks pursued Teague at the February deadline and there is speculation that Atlanta, with Dennis Schroeder on the roster, may look to move Teague this summer. The Hawks were swept by Cleveland in the second round of the playoffs.
