It's hardly a given, of course, and agent Bill Strickland hasn't been given any such indication from Isiah Thomas. You may say that Zeke is under no obligation to share his secrets, but he might want to do business with one of Strickland's clients (Rasheed Wallace) this summer

Do you think the Bobcats would take him?

    Houston may be exposed

It depends... How many years left on his contract?

I think whether or not Houston will be exposed all depends on how many years are left on his contract. Because I'm pretty sure i heard that the Bobcats aren't really looking forward taking on any players that posses huge contracts.

But I think its really sad they would let him go like that.

The only question i have is would the Knicks still have to pay for houston if he went to the Bobcats?

I mean how would his salary pay work out?

Would the Bobcats or the Knicks have to pay the remainder of Houstons contract?

Or would both teams have to pay their respected shares of his contract which would include the Bobcats paying Houston for the amount of years that he signs to play with their team and the Knicks paying houston what he signed for with their team originally.

No way will the Bobcats take him. His contract would take up too much of their already decreased salary cap. And the Knicks have no picks or anything to offer them to take Houston off their hands.

that is a good point by BC, I dont see them taking Houston either...If they wanted a big contract guy I think they would take Stackhouse if the Wizards dont protect him, he went to school in Carolina and the Wiz have some picks/cash they could give the Cats for taking him.

I agree with BC, I doubt they will take him because of his monster contract and the bobcats school girl salary cap. Houston can still ball, it's just his contract that takes his welcoming touch away.

BTW this threads title is Knicks may exose Houston shouldnt it be expose?

I don't think Houston will be gone. The Knicks are exposing him because they want to protect their younger players. I hope that Charlotte takes Othella Harrington or Shandon Anderson though.

I highly doubt that the Bobcats would take Houston. If the Knicks felt that the Bobcats would take Houston they wouldnt leave him unprotected anyways. Like someone said, if they leave him unprotected it just to keep some other players (young guys) that they dont wanna let go.

NY should expose Houston to Philly for Big Dog.

Houston still has a lot of years left on his huge contract, no one in their right mind would take him and his contract. He's a second-rate player that's making superstar money. He's a perimeter shooter who can't create his own shot and won't help out the Bobcats.

Houston's being exposed. There's an article in the NY Times about it here (requires registration).
