Keep the freakin’ expiring contracts and tear this whole team apart. As if getting blown out by the Hawks wasn’t enough, the Lakers come into our building and completely humiliate us. Why is it that I saw some smiles on some of the Knicks players’ faces? Q-Rich had the nerve to crack jokes with Kobe and Devean George. That bum has been terrible all freakin’ season. The only thing he should laugh at is his performance this season and how he got dumped by Brandy. Eddy Curry is an okay center and isn’t worth our 2 draft picks. Sweetney and a couple of second rounders should have been enough. We had the upper hand in this deal. US! Curry was out of shape, had heart issues, and was just okay in Chicago. Curry got manhandled by Bynum, who looks like he’s still going through puberty. Isiah, like the clown he is, offered them our pick unprotected! We just came from a 33-49 season, so why in the hell would you offer them our pick unprotected. Now what do we have to show for this season? NOTHING. Oh yeah, our 29th pick. Silly me. Can you believe the prices to watch the Knicks? It costs hundreds of dollars to sit courtside and watch us get blown out. I know we’re supposed to be faithful and all, but anyone who bails out of a Knick game I don’t blame them. If the Knicks were like the Bobcats – a team although bad, tries hard every single game – I could respect that, but it seems like we have a whole bunch of athletes who should have stayed in college longer to get better IQ’s. Then there’s coach Brown who doesn’t have the slightest idea of what he’s doing playing 12 players every single game. What’s weird about it is the fact that the effective guys who try hard like David Lee don’t get much floor time. I remember j0se said a while back signing Brown was an awful move. He’s 100% correct. Brown cannot run an effective offense plain and simple. Every single possession the Knicks are indecisive and confused as to what to do. Guys like Stephon, a career 20/8 guy, are having career lows thanks to Brown. You would think someone who’s been around basketball so long would know you can’t expect guys to play consistent when you coach so inconsistently. The Knicks need a coach like Doc Rivers or Mike D’Antoni. Not Larry Brown. We had ample opportunities to make a run and get the 8th and possibly the 7th seed, but we blew it and now are giving a top 3 pick to Chicago and embarrassing ourselves and the rest of New York. Isiah needs to go, Brown needs to go, and everyone needs to go. I spend so much time on the Knicks and this is how they repay me? I gave them my heart, they stabbed it, spit on it, and stepped on it.
I don't think Brown is a bad coach, but Isiah can't give a young team a coach like Brown, who has extremely high expectations from all his players, as you see each game go by, each Knick player loses confidence, cause they're not playing at the level Brown wants to them be. I dunno...I guess with no cap relief...and no draft pick...I just have to sit back and take it.
Wow, Tribute's going to have a field day with this. Oh and MrJ, you forgot about signing Jerome James to that ridiculous contract. Just a reminder.

He could have had: Stevn Hunter, Stromile Swift, Zaza Pachulia, and maybe even Danny G.
I think the Knicks should re-sign Qyntel Woods as well, looking at how he's playing he could actually turn out to be somewhat of the player he has the potential to be. Kinda off topic I guess, but you should add that to your rant..
You can tell how bad the situation is when MrJ goes on a crazy rant like that: he's been the most patient and optimistic Knick fan I've seen. I agree totally with you, and I've felt like this for a few seasons. The team doesn't have a player that Brown seems to want to build around. But the worst part is management. You can't run a successful team, when you're constantly hoping your GM won't mess up (believe me, I know with Babcock). The team needs an identity and the GM and coach can't seem to agree on what type of team they want to build. Without a sense of identity the Knicks will only continue to make randomn moves without a concrete direction. Btw, most Celtics fans would tell you that Doc Rivers is a horrible replacement for anybody.

I know how you feel, especially in regards to the draft pick. The best we can hope for is that by the end of the season the team starts clicking.
I almost pissed on myself when the fans were chanting M-V-P for the OPPOSITION! And then Walt Clyde saying how fans were asking him how much they think Kobe will drop on them. Man this franchise is in limbo right now. Tribute says it best as in... I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.
