With the trade just going down between these two teams, and me being busy (hey, I had to play ball; it was warm outside), there's no game thread.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">NEW YORK, January 30, 2006 -- The Knicks? up-and-down week included a pair of losses sandwiching a win over the Magic that ended a six-game slide. Larry Brown seems to have abandoned the lineup that got New York six straight wins earlier this month.

Rookies David Lee and Nate Robinson, who started all six of those wins, have seen their roles diminish greatly. This past week, Lee sat out one game, played just 48 seconds of another, and did not score at all. Robinson, who had averaged more than 11 points over the first 11 January games, totaled just 11 points in the three games.

Another key factor has been the absence of Antonio Davis. AD has missed the last five games due to an NBA suspension for entering the crowd in Chicago, but is set to return Monday and could bring back some stability to the rotation.

The Knicks get up and down the eastern seaboard this week with a visit to the Atlanta Hawks, a home game against the Los Angeles Lakers, a trip to Toronto to take on the Raptors, and finally a Garden matinee against the Houston Rockets. </div>

The Knicks werent worthy of your game thread once again MrJ so dont worry about it. The Knicks embarassed themselves once again tonight but what else is new. They lost by double digits-once again- to another bad team. On the brightside they only lost by 14 points this time around so we are making progress! By the way I wonder if the Knicks and Raptors combined their teams would they be good enough to make their playoffs?

Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired

The Knicks looked totally out of sync on offense and defense. At least last year on offense they were okay, but now ... I think it's almost as bad as the defense. Guys are turning the ball over constantly, and no one has confidence to make any shots, not even the open ones. We looked like a pick-up team this game, the game before, and the game before that. Jalen Rose in the starting lineup likely means more tinkering. [IMG]

Probably not, but they would definitely be the worst defensive team ever.
