Matt Barnes is an energy player and he can be a good backup for the Knicks if Houston isnt healthy and could possibly earn time over Ariza because of his defensive skills. Barnes is also a veteran who knows how to make it count when he's out there on the court, so I think this is a great pick up for the Knicks.
