I heard that earlier....they finally get a good coach and there losing him after a year. What they need to do is scrap that roster and start over.

It's funny how they think Larry Brown is the problem.Paying $18 million to those washed-up veterens is straight robbery.

They need to find someone who will take some of their salaries without taking another overpaid average player in the process (or at least an overpaid Superstar like KG), then build through their youth with Frye, Robinson, ect.

He makes a lot of money, but he's an MVP candidate year in and year out. If he had some support.

Not on some clown like Marbury or Francis.

Greg Oden will stay 4 years in college. He's not like other kids that are in college for a pro tryout. He's there to stay and get a degree.

Re: Knicks to buyout Larry Brown's contract

A new corkscrew in the story which should entertain both of you Vilma and Urlacher....<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>KNICKS MAY PURSUE DEAL FOR GORDONBy LENN ROBBINS--------------------------------------------------------------------------------May 15, 2006 -- The Knicks and Bulls recently held trade discussions focusing on UConn star Ben Gordon, The Post has learned.According to sources in Chicago and a source close to Gordon, the Knicks were interested in acquiring the Mount Vernon native in exchange for, "one of the Knicks elite guards" and a No. 1 pick in next year's draft. The Post reported exclusively yesterday that the Knicks are looking into buying out coach Larry Brown and replacing him with GM Isiah Thomas, so any talks are in limbo. The source close to Gordon told The Post the 6-3 shooting guard, who won the NBA's 2005 Sixth...</div>Cant get the full story without signing up, but still kinda interesting. Im assumeing they mean either Marbury or Francis when they say one of their 'elite guards' and we know Urlacher wants another draft pick...and BTW, The Curry deal was NY's first rounder in 2006, and their Second Rounder in 2007 and 2009. So your quest for hoping the Knicks suck for more lottery picks is pointless as of right now. http://www.nba.com/bulls/news/curry_traded_051004.html

In other words, Isiah Thomas is the worst GM in NBA history.Who in their sane mind would give that much for a draft bust that doesn't play close to his size?

The Knicks need all the help they can get but Larry Brown isnt the problem. Isiah is... he gets all old vets that are either have injury problem or " Mental " problems. If they had a better GM who doesnt just sign players because of there name the Knicks would be a play-off contender.

Don't know how or why, but the Bulls are atop the list of likely places. So you might be spending some picks this offseason trading for the best player statistically in the nation...

In other news, Larry Brown isnt going to accept any buyouts from the Knicks. If they want him gone that badly itll cost them another 40 mill [IMG]
