Phil Jackson’s second move Thursday night was more popular among the fans at Barclays Center than his first.

After drafting Latvian project forward Kristaps Porzingis with the fourth pick, the Knicks president picked up another first-round talent by dealing Tim Hardaway Jr. to Atlanta for No. 19 selection Jerian Grant, the point guard out of Notre Dame.

Grant, 22, was a four-year starter for the Irish, averaging 14.6 points and 5.8 assists over 119 games.

The son of former NBAer Harvey Grant — and the older brother of Sixers forward Jerami Grant — was a first-team All-American as a senior and led Notre Dame to the Elite Eight before the Fighting Irish lost to Kentucky.

“I was extremely excited just to be here, just to have an opportunity to come in and make the team better and be able to contribute right away. I’m excited for that,” Grant said. “The triangle (offense) has high‑basketball‑IQ players, and I think I’m one of those. I pick up on the offense really quickly and help the guys around me.”
