The New York Daily News reports that the Knicks have been attempting to trade Kurt Thomas, who is unhappy in his new role off the bench. Antonio McDyess has been inserted into the starting lineup. The Knicks are searching for a point guard. Teams reportedly contacted include Chicago, Golden State, Toronto, Dallas, Atlanta and Toronto. (12/19)
Wow, Toronto wants Kurt twice as bad? j/k Dallas would love him, I'm sure, especially if they could jump Travis Best on the Knicks. But the Knicks would probably prefer Delk, a more 'offensive' point than any that they have.
He'd fit good with the Raptors, they need a big man, he would get alot of minutes. I like Thomas in Toronto.

I'm surprised(sort of) that Minnesota isn't on that list. Although Troy is a big part of what they did last year, bringing a veteran like Kurt in for Troy would be great. And Troy probably wouldn't be averse to getting big minutes starting in the Big Apple.
Everyone has opinion about where Bryant, who can become a free agent this summer, might end up. The most plausible scenario has him reconciling with Shaquille O'Neal and returning to the Lakers. Another popular scenario is for Bryant to be reunited with Jerry West in Memphis. But there is also one long-shot possibility that should be of interest to the Knicks. The Los Angeles Times recently quoted a person close to Bryant as well as a team official saying that Bryant's first choice would be to play in New York.
Bryant leaving LA just isn't gonna happen. Actually let me go one further: Bryant leaving the Lakers just isn't gonna happen. He and the organization both realize that he's the future of the franchise. He's young, and could easily have another dozen solid years left. Assuming Shaq retires in 4 years, that leaves Bryant almost a decade to run one of the most storied franchises in sports. He's not gonna pass that up. And I'm sorry, but the Knicks aren't storied. Or vaunted. Or any other term that shows the overall franchise respect. They've won two titles, both over thirty years ago. Not much better than the Hawks. No, Kobe stays with the LA lakers, despite what he, his agent, or anyone else says.

Our bench is really picking it up right now, and with Hudson coming off the bench, we are going to be GREAT!
