<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The New York Knicks hoped the acquisition of Jalen Rose would help them turn around their season. That hasn't been the case. Rose tries again for his first win as a Knick when he faces his former team for the first time since the Toronto Raptors sent him to New York for Antonio Davis on Feb. 3. The Knicks acquired Rose, a first-round draft pick and an undisclosed amount of cash from Toronto in exchange for Davis, hoping the deal would help them get on track. ADVERTISEMENT New York, though, has dropped seven in a row since the deal to extend its losing streak to 10 games. Rose has played in six of those losses, averaging 17.5 points and 4.2 assists. "We've got a lot of guys in here that are learning how to win," Rose said. "And when you're learning that on the fly over an 82-game schedule, you're going to have some tough times." The skid is New York's longest since ending the 1984-85 season with a franchise-record 12 straight losses. Several months later, the Knicks drafted Patrick Ewing with the first overall pick. "I don't enjoy this feeling," said coach Larry Brown, in his first season with New York after taking Detroit to consecutive NBA Finals. "I feel for those guys in the dressing room. We have to figure out a way to get one." New York, which recorded its season low in points in a 100-72 defeat at Dallas on Monday, has lost 16 of 17 since a season-best six-game winning streak from Jan. 2-13. Guard Jamal Crawford didn't dress Monday because of a sore lower back, and point guard Stephon Marbury missed his eighth straight game because of a bruised left shoulder. Nate Robinson took Crawford's place in the starting five for the Knicks, who have used an NBA-high 30 different lineups this season. Davis wasn't thrilled about going back to Toronto%2 right way and keep playing hard you never know what can happen in April," said Mike James, who scored 27 points in Toronto's third straight win Monday. Leading scorer Chris Bosh managed only eight points, but Morris Peterson had 20 and rookie Charlie Villanueva added 16 for the Raptors, who went 11-for-17 from the 3-point line. Toronto has won four straight and five of the last six against New York.</div> http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/preview;_ylt=A...?gid=2006021518
Congrats guys. Not like either team is going anywhere this season, but I was trully shocked at how poorly utelized Eddy Curry is. You got Q and Malik chucking shots when the Raps have always had trouble containing Curry. Nonetheless, someone had to win. Big ups for J Rose.
We finally got a win. Even a blind squirrel finds acorns every now and then I guess. Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.
I certainly hope so. I'm getting tired of his decision making and tired of watching him lett his man blow right by him. Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.
