Knicks @ Warriors Sat, Dec. 6 7:00 pm Warriors Probable Starters PG: Nick Van Exel SG: Jason Richardson SF: Mike Dunleavy PF: Clifford Robinson C: Erick Dampier Knicks Probable Starters PG: Charlie Ward SG: Allan Houston SF: Shandon Anderson PF: Kurt Thomas C: Dikembe Mutombo Key Match-up J-Rich/Allen Houston This should be a great match-up: Veteran vs. Youngster. We all know how Houston can take over a game with his hot shooting, but he will also have to try and contain the high-flying Richardson. J-Rich has athleticism over Houston but Houston is a crafty defender. Warriors Keys To the Game The Warriors must get a lot of points in transition. They are a more athletic team. The Knicks cannot match-up with the Warriors so they might see some zone defense. Dunleavy must come out firing to get them out of the zone. Dampier must keep Mutombo off the glass and shouldn't give the Knicks any second chances. Knicks Keys To the Game The Knicks must force the Warriors into a half court game. They must limit their transition baskets. Mutombo has to keep Dampier off the glass and must creat second chances for his teamates. It is key for Houston to find his stroke early to keep the Knicks in the game, if they come out cold it could be a long night. Rudeezy's Prediction The Warriors will keep their hot streak going and will beat the Knicks. I don't see this being a close game. Warriors in double-digits.
Man have the Knicks fallen from grace hard. They stink the place up bad. They need to bring back LJ. I hope the Warriours take this one and put it on the Knicks. The warriors need a Eastern team to beat up on and gain confidence.

As a Laker fan living in the Bay Area, it's sad to always look at the bottom of the cellar and see the Warriors down there. It's about time they step up and start winning games because they have the longest playoff drought in the league. The time is now for GoldenState/Oakland. No excuses.
What's wrong with Van Horn, he usually starts I think? Anyway we've got the Knicks tonight at Key Arena, so we'll just soften em up for you mate Dampier's in form, but then again so is Mutombo. Just coming off player of the week and the Knicks went 3-1, they're no pushover despite a 7-11 record.
Warriors in this one, they will run NY out of the arena. BTW guys, my Cavs game thread has no replies

Quoting Purple N Gold:

Yep, here they are.....
I love these Jersey's! If anyone knows where to buy these let me know!!! The Warriors should and will take this one. They just came off two gusty losses to the Nuggets. The Warriors are dominant against Eastern Conference teams, especially at home. Hopefully we keep it up.
Here is a J-Rich one. Found it on NBA.com in the NBA store J-Rich Jersey Looks nice, I might have to get one of these myself, I love these jerseys as well.
Wasn't able to catch this game, I was out, but interesting how ever Warrior player that played was in double figures except for Richardson who had 9, and Pietrus who had 5 in 9 minutes. Good win for the Warriors who now improve their record to 9-9. BTW: You know your in good hands when Brian Cardinal leads your team in scoring. lol
Very nice win for the Warriors. They even their record at 9-9 after suffering two straight losses to the Nuggets. Having 8 men in double figures doesn't hurt either.
Quote:

-- Nick Van Exel appears to be fully rehabilitated. The same cannot be said for his good friend Antonio McDyess. Van Exel scored 13 of his 15 points in the third quarter as the Golden State Warriors dealt McDyess and the New York Knicks their fourth straight loss, 104-92. Van Exel, in his first season with the Warriors, missed seven games early on while recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery. After a quiet start, he has averaged 19.5 points in his last four games. McDyess, who developed a friendship with Van Exel during their days as teammates with the Denver Nuggets, had not played since March 2001 due to a pair of much more serious knee injuries. The former All-Star had played increasingly better in each of his first three games, but took a step back in his first game on consecutive nights. He scored just eight points on 3-of-6 shooting and was not as active as he was Friday at Portland.
recap box score

It would have been awesome to get a Rick Barry jersey but J-Rich will do.
Great win for GS, and a great confidence boost to have 7 guys in double figures. Brian Cardinal is having a great year too, provided a real spark off the pine in this one.
